How to play Ronbots
Ronbots is a casual Tamagotchi-style robot game on Ronin. Mint a pixel robot egg, hatch it, keep its HP up, play for Happiness, spend Energy to train, evolve it, and fight. Everything is on-chain and plays in the browser.
Start in four taps
- Connect a Ronin wallet. If the main button says Switch to Ronin, tap it.
- Tap Mint first bot. The price in RON is shown on the button.
- Tap Hatch on the bay once the egg arrives.
- Come back daily: Refuel, Play, Train, then Evolve when the gates pass.
The meters
- HPStay-alive meter. At 0 the bot hibernates: no XP, no fights. Refuel restores it. (charge)
- HappinessMood. Play restores it. Happy bots train better, and Evolve needs it high. (integrity)
- EnergyAction budget. Play and Train spend it. Regenerates on its own. (heat)
- FuelWhat Refuel burns. Buy it in the Shop, win it from the daily track or the spin. (shop item)
- XPRaises level. Level gates Hatch and each Evolve. (level)

- Ronbots is a casual Tamagotchi-style robot game on the Ronin blockchain. You mint a 16×16 pixel robot egg as an ERC-721 token, hatch it, keep its HP up, play for Happiness, spend Energy to train, evolve it through stages, fight, equip cosmetics, and share it. It plays in the browser with no download.
- Is Ronbots free to play?
- Opening the game is free. Minting a robot and every in-game action is an on-chain transaction on Ronin paid in RON. The first egg is cheaper than extra bots; the current mint price is shown in the game before you pay.
- How do I start?
- Connect a Ronin wallet, switch to the Ronin network if the button asks you to, tap Mint first bot, then tap Hatch on the bay. After that, the daily loop is Refuel, Play, Train, and Evolve when the gates pass.
- What do HP, Happiness, Energy, Fuel and XP mean?
- HP is the stay-alive meter; at 0 the bot hibernates and earns no XP. Happiness is mood; Play restores it and happy bots train better. Energy is the action budget that Play and Train spend and that regenerates over time. Fuel is the shop item Refuel consumes to restore HP. XP raises level, and level gates evolution.
- What do Refuel, Play, Train and Evolve do?
- Refuel consumes one fuel item and restores HP. Play costs Energy, restores Happiness and grants XP. Train ATK or Train DEF costs Energy, runs on a cooldown, and permanently raises the stat by 1. Evolve moves the bot to the next stage when level, HP and Happiness gates pass.
- What are the stages?
- Egg, bot, primed, maxed. Hatch turns the egg into a bot; each later evolve is permanent and changes the silhouette and stats.
- Do gacha crates change fight odds?
- No. Crates give cosmetics only. Fights are decided by the ATK and DEF you trained. Pity is on-chain and picks the crate item.
- Where does the randomness come from?
- Mints, crates, the wheel, dice, hunts, raids and boss hits take their seed from Randoo VRF on Ronin. You pay at commit, before the oracle delivers the seed, and a roll cannot be reverted.
- Do I own my Ronbot?
- Yes. Each Ronbot is an ERC-721 token in your wallet on Ronin. Transferring it does not need the Ronbots server.
- What is the play wallet?
- An optional server-derived key you bind to your account so hatching and care do not need a wallet popup. It cannot recycle a live bot or transfer one. You can fund it and withdraw from it in Account.
- Can I play on my phone?
- Yes. Ronbots runs in the mobile browser and can be added to the home screen. There is no app store download.
- How do invites work?
- Your invite code is your wallet address. Share https://ronbots.lol/?ref=0x… and the referrer is stored on-chain once at the invitee's first mint.
